Dr. Visvanathan is committed in providing quality dental treatment for her patients. She is committed to ongoing education to keep abreast of the latest treatments and materials in order to work to the highest standards. To this end, she has completed a huge amount of postgraduate education including the year-long Certificate courses in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and Implant Dentistry.

In addition to a multitude of courses encompassing most aspects of dentistry, she is currently doing her Master’s in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (MClinDent FRP) at the prestigious King’s College London. She is also working towards her special interest in Restorative, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry and is an active Member of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons in England and the College of Dentistry.

She enjoys working alongside the patient in smile design and full mouth rehabilitation. Her keen interests are smile makeover, rebuilding worn out teeth and replacing gaps with dentures, bridges or implants.

Dr. Visvanathan offers treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment and is experienced and successful in helping nervous patients become confident about attending the dentist.


David qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 1980 and in 1990 set up Marshgate Dental Practice in Richmond whilst running a West End practice at the same time. He completed the Eastman Dental Institute post-graduate certificate in prosthodontics in 1998 and did his implant training there in 1999.

David maintains a part-time teaching commitment at St. Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and was President of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry in 2010. He also acts as an expert witness, frequently being asked to give advice on clinical issues at General Dental Council regulatory hearings.

David has a particular interest in advanced restorative dentistry and oral rehabilitation, including smile enhancement. He always adopts an approach that minimises the amount of invasive treatment needed, whilst maximising the benefits of the outcome. David has lectured nationally on clinical risk management and law and ethics in dentistry .
